I recommend this ryokan because it was pleasant to wake up to the sound of birds and to hike nearby in the early morning.

For those who want to stay overnight and hike the next day, Mt. Odake / 大岳山 is an excellent option.
Level 1
Take the cable car up to the top of Mt. Mitake and hike around the Rock Garden area.

Level 2
